To all Investors and Shareholders of the Company, We had gone through the year 2024, which was still a challenging year. Regarding the domestic market, it was noticeable that the distribution of monthly palm fruit volumes had returned to normal compared to 2023. This caused many palm oil refineries to operate more efficiently and achieve better performances. For the international market, despite negative factors on palm oil prices, such as the stricter policies and standards for palm oil imports from the European Union, the palm oil price was still quite high. This reflected that palm oil was in demand in the market and had good growth potential because palm oil was the lowest-cost oil and fat compared with other types of oil. It was also an important food source amid the continuous increase in the world's population.
In 2024, the Company's operating results fluctuated according to the season and the volume of output released to the market as reported to shareholders in each previous quarter. However, due to the distribution of the monthly palm fruit volume returning to normal, it was possible to assess the situation more accurately. As a result, strategic planning in production and management was more efficient and effective. Nevertheless, there were still government policies that affected some operations. The Company was still able to adapt and manage it. However, it is expected that it will still be affected by government intervention periodically due to the fluctuation of palm fruit and palm oil prices in the market.
สำหรับปี 2568 นี้ บริษัทคาดว่าปริมาณผลผลิตในประเทศจะใกล้เคียงกับปี 2567 ที่ผ่านมา และลักษณะการกระจายตัวของปริมาณผล ปาล์มรายเดือนจะเป็นรูประฆังคว่ำ (Bell Curve) ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อโรงสกัดน้ำมันปาล์มของบริษัทและอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์มโดยรวม อย่างไรก็ตาม ในปี 2568 จะมีการบังคับใช้มาตรฐานอุตสาหกรรมฉบับใหม่สำหรับโรงงานที่มีการใช้เครื่องกำเนิดไอน้ำ (Boiler) ขนาดใหญ่ คือ มีการ รายงานค่าของควันที่ออกจากปล่องเครื่องกำเนิดไอน้ำแบบออนไลน์ไปยังกรมโรงงานอุตสาหกรรม โดยบริษัทได้เตรียมความพร้อมเกี่ยวกับนโยบายนี้เอาไว้ อย่างครบถ้วนแล้ว จากที่มีการลงทุนเพื่อการกำจัดมลพิษต่างๆ ที่ออกจากเครื่องกำเนิดไอน้ำมาอย่างสม่ำเสมอนับตั้งแต่ปลายปี 2565 เป็นต้นมา ทำให้คาด ว่าบริษัทจะสามารถดำเนินการตามมาตรฐานฉบับใหม่นี้ได้ และไม่สร้างภาระด้านมลพิษให้แก่ชุมชน ซึ่งเป็นไปตามนโยบายของภาครัฐและนโยบายของบริษัท สำหรับความยั่งยืนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมในอนาคต ปัจจุบันในประเทศไทยมีโรงงานผลิตเชื้อเพลิงอากาศยานแบบยั่งยืน (Sustainable Aviation Fuel : SAF) แล้วหนึ่งแห่ง และคาดว่าจะเริ่มเปิดดำเนินการในปี 2568 โดยคาดการณ์ว่าสิ่งนี้จะเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งเสริมอุปสงค์ต่อน้ำมันปาล์ม และช่วยสร้างความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันปาล์มกับอุตสาหกรรมน้ำมันอื่นๆ ของประเทศต่อไป
In addition to the uncertainty of supply and demand, there are also external factors, such as government policies related to the palm oil industry, geopolitical uncertainty due to the international trade war and the new potential regional wars, which are expected to affect energy prices and palm oil prices in the global market. These factors may cause fluctuations in palm oil prices. However, the Company promises to closely monitor these factors and adjust its management policies and strategies to be in line with and respond to the rapidly changing situation in the future in order to maximize the benefits of the Company and its shareholders with its full effort.
Lastly, on behalf of the Company, I would like to thank our shareholders, farmers, business partners, and all relevant agencies for their continuous support and confidence in the Company.
